Who makes up the Studio Insiders community?

Studio Insider members are a diverse group of engaged TV viewers, ages 18 or older. Game show, talk show, soap opera, and prime-time TV series viewers are some of our main advisory sub-segments within the community. PlayStation® users and individuals who regularly stream online video are also large parts of the community.



How do I participate in Studio Insider activities?

As a Sony Pictures Television community member, all you have to do now is watch your email for invitations! We’ll invite you to participate in activities we think you’ll be interested in, based on the profile you provided during registration. Invitations will include the topic of the activity or study, the reward or incentive we are offering for completing the study, and the URL and/or QR code where you can access it online or on your mobile phone.



How frequently will I be invited to share my opinion?

On average, SPT Studio Insiders receive one or two survey invitations each month on a variety of topics. Members may also receive one or two reminder e-mails per survey if they have not responded to the initial invitation.

Members may also receive regular e-mail invitations to participate in a community discussion or activity.

While the Sony Pictures Television Research team issues at least 1 study every month, this doesn’t necessarily mean every member will be invited to participate in a survey each time. This is because, from time to time, only a set number of invitations are issued for certain studies.


How frequently do I have to participate?

Of course, we hope that we can engage you with our regular discussions and surveys. You are under no obligation to participate in any study or activity, however, if over time you do not respond to any communications, we may consider you an inactive member. Inactive members may be removed from the community if they don’t participate in any studies over a period of time. Therefore, please keep in touch with us so we know you are involved with shaping our future.



How many times can I complete a survey or study?

Our studies are by invitation only. For professional research reasons, you can take any given survey only once.



How will my responses to the studies be used?

Your responses, along with those from other Studio Insiders, will serve as key input into Sony Pictures Television’s strategic decisions and improvement efforts.

When you register as a qualified member and when you complete studies, your responses, as well as that of other survey respondents, are collected and analyzed in aggregate. Your email address, name, and any other personally identifiable information will never be provided to others without your prior written consent.



Will anyone look at my individual responses to a survey?

No. Your responses will be evaluated anonymously along with the other respondents to the survey.



Will my responses be seen by anyone outside of Sony Pictures Television or will my name, address or email address be given or sold to anyone outside of Sony Pictures Television?

No. The information you share with us will never be given or sold to any individual or outside company. Please see our Privacy Policy for more information.



How do I know you actually received my answers to a study?

At the end of each survey is a "Finish" or "Submit" button. Once you have clicked that button, your answers are stored on our secure server. You will then see a “Thank You” or confirmation page. This indicates that we have received your input.



How do I change my email address?

You can change your email address and any of your other registration information at any time by logging into the portal at http://www.studioinsiders.com/ with your username and password and clicking on the “Update User Info” link. Here you can make changes to your email address and password. This will ensure that we will send your studies to the correct email address.



Can I refer a friend to the Studio Insiders community?

Yes! Anyone is welcome to join Studio Insiders. Just send them a link to the Studio Insiders portal (http://www.studioinsiders.com/) and ask them to click the “Join Now!” button on the login page and then complete the initial survey.




Are there any fees or costs?

No. Your community membership is absolutely free and we hope that you will find taking our surveys an enjoyable and rewarding experience.


Do I need special hardware or software?

No. Almost any computer with Internet access is sufficient to complete our surveys.


Is my browser compatible with Studio Insider studies?

A range of browsers are supported by the Studio Insiders community to ensure that you have the ability to participate in all our studies and activities.

The following browser/operating system combinations are supported: (Note: For all supported browsers, it is assumed that the most recent vendor service packs and updates are installed)

 



Who is Vision Critical?

Vision Critical is a well-respected research firm based in North America that provides the software for Sony Pictures Television Studio Insiders. They will not use the information for any purpose other than analyzing and reporting survey results to Sony Pictures Television.

All personal data Vision Critical collects in panelists’ profile, and in the answers they provide to Studio Insiders surveys, remain strictly confidential and panelist privacy is guaranteed.

How do I ‘unsubscribe’ from Sony Pictures Television Studio Insiders?

You can click on the “Unsubscribe” link found at the bottom of any of our email communications, and follow the instructions on screen to complete the process. Once you have completed this action, you will be immediately removed from the community. You can also unsubscribe by sending us an email at support@studioinsiders.com with the word "Remove" in the subject line.



Can I re-activate my membership?

Yes, you can reactivate your membership by contacting support@studioinsiders.com and ask to re-join the community. Please include “Membership Re-Activation” in the subject line.



Whom do I contact if I have questions or problems?

Both Sony Pictures Television and Vision Critical remain committed to facilitating as easy an experience as possible for all Studio Insider members.

Technical Issues: If you have any questions or problems with your Insider account, encounter any technical issue while performing an activity on the Insiders website, or have any questions about a specific survey or study, please contact support@studioinsiders.com. Please be as specific as possible when describing the problem and include the browser (include the version number) you are using. We will respond promptly to help determine the nature of the problem.

How can I get tickets to a Sony Pictures TV show taping?

Jeopardy!, Wheel of Fortune, The Queen Latifah Show

and other TV shows tape in front of live audiences at Sony Entertainment Studios in Culver City, CA. Tickets to our show tapings are always free, and during your visit you’ll get a behind-the-scenes peek inside our Studios. To apply for tickets, just use one of the sources below:
